Should I Follow Dr. Dixit's Diet?
“Sir… Should I follow Dr. Dixit's diet? Should I eat twice a day or every two hours as some nutritionists suggest?”
I get asked this question very often.
Honestly, this question is not wrong because people are genuinely trying.
Nowadays, many methods are visible on social media. There is talk about Dr. Dixit's diet and also discussions about Dt. Diwekar's diet.
People are sincere. They follow diet charts, buy expensive fruits, and get gym memberships.
But after a few months, the same people say, “Sir… nothing is working.”
In my 25+ years of clinical practice, I have repeatedly observed one thing:
Metabolic health is not just about diet. Food is important. Exercise is important. But the body does not run only on the plate and gym.
Metabolism is a very large system.
Therefore, I usually do not give diet charts, menu plans, or calorie counting.
I talk about:
- Metabolism - Insulin rhythm - Sleep - Stress - Daily habits - Routine - Relationships - Caregivers - Patient stories
Because metabolic disease does not happen due to a single cause. It develops due to a pattern.
My team also firmly believes in this.
At Just For Hearts, alongside me, experienced nutritionists, exercise experts, Ayurveda specialists, Diabetes Educators, Psychologists, and clinical colleagues work together.
We all agree on one thing:
Metabolism is a much bigger subject than just diet or exercise.
Counselling helps. Understanding helps. Routine helps. Health tracking helps. Technology helps.
I do not want to criticize anyone or compete with anyone.
Whether it is Dixit, Diwekar, or many other celebrity coaches, I have no comments on them. People should do what they find useful.
I talk about things that an ordinary person can do daily without big expenses or big effort.
I firmly believe:
Health is not expensive. Healthcare is expensive.
Health should not be an effort; it should be the default lifestyle.
So, for those who ask, “Which diet should I follow?”
I offer just a third option.
If you agree with what I say and feel the benefits, you can calmly say:
I follow Just For Hearts for Sustainable Health.
