Movement ≠ Exercise
When we talk about movement or physical activity, we immediately think of the gym, shoes, time, and excuses. But in reality, movement means signaling your muscles and keeping your body awake.
What does science say? * When you sit continuously, your muscles stop using glucose. * Gradually, insulin resistance increases. * This increases the risk of lifestyle diseases.
Simple solutions: * Stand up for 1-2 minutes every 30-40 minutes. * Walk while talking on the phone. * Even small movements send a message to your body that "I am active."
Remember the logic: * Gym is optional. * Movement is non-negotiable.
Small movements = big difference. To maintain health, expensive gadgets or gym memberships are not as important as incorporating small movements into your daily routine.
