For Whom is Fatty Liver a Disease... and For Whom is it Not?

(This is part 2 of a 3-post series on this topic)

1. Not every Fatty Liver requires medication. But every Fatty Liver needs clinical judgment. 2. If Fatty Liver is accompanied by fat around the waist, high triglycerides, low HDL, BP, or prediabetes, it is considered metabolic Fatty Liver. 3. In such individuals, Fatty Liver is often the first visible marker for future Diabetes and Heart Disease. 4. Conversely, if someone has an incidental Grade 1 Fatty Liver detected in an ultrasound, and other reports are normal, there's no need to panic. 5. High ALT (Liver Enzyme) doesn't always indicate seriousness, and normal ALT doesn't guarantee safety. 6. The real question is: Is the Liver storing fat, or has its ability to use fat decreased? 7. If Muscle mass is low, both Sugar and Fat ultimately go to the Liver. 8. Therefore, Exercise is not just about "calorie burn" but about directing Metabolism in the right direction.

While reading this, ask yourself: "Am I walking to lose weight, or to use my Muscles?"

We provide step-by-step guidance on such small observations on our Just For Hearts YouTube channel.

Tomorrow, the final part: What sequence starts in the body if Fatty Liver is neglected? Leave your questions in the comments; we will address them all.
