Add Play to Your Routine for Better Health

Just For Hearts1 min read

In the OPD, a patient often says, “Doctor, I follow all the rules… but I still feel tired.” The answer to this is playfulness.

Patients who are a little playful respond better to treatment.

What exactly is playfulness? “Play = Serious Self-Care.” Playfulness means living lightheartedly.

Play is not a waste of time. It's a reset button for your nervous system.

Logic: During play, dopamine + oxytocin are released, protecting you from burnout.

How to do it? Walking, singing, drawing, crosswords, gardening. Don't focus on the result; enjoy the process.

Play is not a luxury; it's a survival skill.

Your routine remains the same, but your mental stress is released.
