It is truly said, “A man’s health can be judged by which he takes two at a time – pills or stairs”. Just For Hearts successfully conducted a wellness program for the employees of Citibank. The program was simultaneously conducted at Pune, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and Secunderabad locations. The wellness program was launched on 2nd December 2014 and went till 5th December 2014. The program consisted of sessions on Music Therapy, Yoga Session and Aerobics Sessions.
The Clinical Psychology experts conducted sessions on Music Therapy. The expert also explained how music affects the body and mind in many powerful ways and also helps in reducing stress. The expert also conducted some relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, rhythmic exercise, etc.
The Wellness Program also included Yoga Session conducted by the Yoga expert. The employees were explained the importance of Yoga and how it helps a person mentally and physically active. The employees were given the demonstrations on different yoga forms.
The much liked event of the day was the Aerobics Session which was liked by all. The expert explained how Aerobic exercise is essential for maintaining cardiovascular fitness. The expert also explained that by doing regular aerobics exercise such as walking, cycling and swimming can help a person to live longer and healthier.
