Many a times we follow few tips without even knowing the scientific reason behind it. There are lots of things which we can follow in our regular routine to keep our self healthy. But all of them are not possible to implement in our hectic schedule. #1 Hour Exercise: Exercising daily for 1 hour helps you to lose weight, keep your heart healthy and prevent lifestyle diseases. Any exercise like jogging, swimming, dance aerobics, brisk walking, zumba, spot jogging, cycling can be done.
#2 Servings of Milk & Milk Products: Milk and milk proteins are rich in portions and help to build new cells in body. Daily intake of 2 servings of it should be included in daily diet like milk, curd, yogurt, buttermilk, paneer etc.
#3 Servings of Fruits/ Salad: Fruits and salads are rich sources of fibers. Fibers helps to keep digestive system well, lose weight and helps to throw away the extra fat too. Daily intake of 3 servings of fruit or any raw vegetable with skin is recommended. (Ex: Apple/ Orange/ Guava/ Sweetlime/ Papaya/ Watermelon/ Cucumber/ Carrot/ Onion/ Tomato etc.) You can include 1 fruit at snacks time and 1 bowl of salad in lunch and dinner to fulfill the requirement.
#4 Teaspoons on Healthy Oils: 4 tea spoons of oil is necessary for healthy body. You can use oils on rotation basis like sunflower, soybean, groundnut, rice bran etc. Make sure you do not mix two oils.
#5 Almonds/ Walnuts: Almonds and walnuts contain good fats which help to keep your heart healthy. Have 5 almonds daily in the morning.
#6 Tastes: Including 6 tastes through out the day satisfy each of the major dietary building block. Sweet-Fruit, Saur-Curd/ Buttermilk, Bitter- Green leafy veggies, Salty- Natural salt, Pungent- Chilli powder, Astringent- Amla/ Raw vegetables)
#7 Meals a Day: 7 meals do not mean big meals. You have to take small meals in 2-3 hourly to maintain weight, prevent acidity and keep all body functions going well.Meals can divide as early morning (almonds), breakfast, mid meal (buttermilk), lunch, snacks (any fruit), dinner, bed time meal (cup of milk).

#10 Glasses of water (at least): Water keep your body hydrated through out the day. Daily intake of 10 glasses (at least) and maximum 3 liters is good for your body.
