As we are approaching the 5th International Yoga Day, we would like to throw light on the strategy we built to make Pre-retirement workshops as a mandate under Employee Wellness programs at Corporate level in which Yoga’ is the most important aspect.
The program designers at Just or Hearts have designed 3 days Pre-retirement workshop at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) in which the participants learn to unwind & rejuvenate with the help of easy Yogasanas & Meditation techniques. Yoga is a full-body workout which starts with easy warm-up \exercises like stretches, followed by core Yogasanas ending with the round of Breathing exercises.
The chances of accidents get higher in old age because of many reasons causing minor injuries to fatal mishaps. Regular one-hour engagement in Yoga helps improve concentration, body balance, Muscle flexibility & Endurance. As you practise more, the routine helps boosts confidence & reflex actions to manage the situation at a primary level.
A healthy mind is home to a healthy body.. Post-retirement many people suffer Anxiety issues due to the sudden shift in life hampering the overall health. 10-15 minutes spent in Meditation practise has proven to be the best medicine for all kinds of Mental disorders. It not only realises the tension but it also sharpens the memory, strengthens the brain, reduces confusion which helps the individual to maintain a happy lifestyle even after the retirement.
