*Any intrinsic or extrinsic stimulus that evokes a biological response is known as stress. Based on the type, timing and severity of the applied stimulus, the degree of emotional connection to the stressful event, stress can exert various actions on the body ranging from alterations in homeostasis to life-threatening effects and death. The impact of stress on psychological & physiological parameters with an increased occurrence of autonomic, cardiovascular, and immune system pathology.
*Stress can be either a triggering or aggravating factor for many diseases and pathological conditions like Diabetes, hypertension & heart disease, digestive disease, skin disease, recurrent allergy infection, weakness of immunity, weight problem & reproductive issues. Stress is associated with increased latent viral reactivation, upper respiratory tract infection, and wound-healing time, indicating that stress causes significant immune response dysfunction.

Causes of over stress – exam failure, disappointment in love, marriage failure, death of loved one, loss of job & financial crisis etc.
*Mental symptoms – anxiety, loss of memory, impaired memory, negative thinking & depression.
*Emotional symptoms – sleep disturbance, eating disorder, hesitation, moodiness & irritability.

Stress management –
*Relax yourself – physically by means of exercise, cycling, running & yoga. Mentally by doing meditation & listening pleasant music.
*Get yourself involve in any of your favorite hobbies/activity like sports, dancing, gardening & drawing etc.
*Always be positive in thinking & for taking any decision.
*Communicate your problems with someone. Express your felling to relax mind.
*Be Socialize – by involving in social activity to avoid aloneness.
