Let us see some side dish recipes which are actually required in a very small portion for their beneficial effects.
Ingredients for carrot pickle
• Carrots finely chopped -2
• Lime pickle masala- 2 tb spoon
• Lime juice – 1/4thkatori
• Oil – 2 tsp
• Jaggary – 1 tsp
• Salt- to taste
• Hing and turmeric powder – ¼th tsp each
Portion size- 8 to 10 servings
Preparation of carrot pickle
- Mix all the ingredients except oil.
- Heat oil in pan.
- Add hing and tuemeric powder to it.
- Cool it completely.
- Pour on the pickle.
Carrot pickle is a Powerhouse of an antioxidant – Carotenoids (vitamin A).
