It is natural to feel lazy and tired during winters. There isn’t enough sunlight to brighten up the day. The days are shorter which alters the sleep patterns. All you feel like spending the day under the blanket, eat good food and do a Movie marathon. But since your body isn’t working out, the chances of falling sick goes up in winters. The fewer sunlight and shorter days may produce a feeling of depression. The prolonged hours spent sitting on the couch will reduce the muscle flexibility. The rich food intake will lead to an increase in body weight and also blood sugar levels. The quality of bedtime will reduce attacking your natural immune system. The list is endless So, how to stay active in winters? Zumba Dance is the most recommended form of exercise in winters because it is always done indoors. So there are fewer chances you will get exposed to the chilli winds except for the commute time. Zumba is done in the group which means you get to socialize. It is far better than spending an evening in front of the Screen which you must have already done. The upbeat music and 1 hour of high energy work out releases Happy Hormones from the body which triggers a positive feeling. Plus the exercise helps to maintain good blood flow, strengthens muscles, improves flexibility and maintains good heart rate. Keeping in mind the benefits, team JFH plans several Zumba sessions in winters. Recently JFH Fitness trainer Mr.Akshay conducted a session at Zensar Technologies, Pune. The team enjoyed the activity and went back home smile on their face and positivity in the mind.
