Many people are adopting to a sugar-free diet mainly because it is now understood that an adult person consumes sugar more than it is required causing health problems like Weight gain and Diabetes. Those who follow this regime sees great health effects like more energy throughout the day, faster weight loss, better digestion, less inflammation in the body, mindfulness and glowing skin. But for many, though they wish to cut down the sugar, the body and taste buds won't let them do so. In the session conducted at Zensar Technologies, our experienced diet expert Ms.Pooja Kulkarni conducted an extensive session on Sugar-free cooking unfolding the science behind it. She demonstrated 4 lip-smacking recipes of some desserts, salads and snacks which even diabetic patients can relish without guilt. Recipes included in the session- Oats n Ragi laddoo, Pomegranate delight, Sprouted methi seeds salad and strawberry apple tiramisu. In each recipe, the refined sugar was replaced by a natural sweetener which is not just a replacement, but also added to complement the other ingredients to enhance the taste & benefit the health.
