Just for Hearts Experts suggests; Yes margarine is a processed fat which contains unhealthy fatty acids. During processing of oil / fat chemical changes makes it unhealthy. It is called as trans fatty acids. These are not good for health. Margarine is used widely in bakery products. That is one of the reason why such food products are avoided for heart patients.  trans fatty acids are also high in fried food, food cooking in oil which is repeatedly heated.
